Would couldn’t have had a more gorgeous day for this Maternity Mini… fabulous sun and beautiful sunflowers!  Their little angel was born about a month ago and she is a perfect little ray of sunshine… her blog will be next!  🙂

How fun is it to be pregnant at the same time as your cousin???  Well these two gorgeous new Mamas are!  It was so fun to capture it and listen to their comparative stories.  One boy and one girl….. they will be best friends.  Congrats ladies… Enjoy every minute!

Yesterday I had the honor of going out & doing a quick shoot for my sweet friend and fellow photog Melody…. as a surprise announcement for family & friends to hear that they are expecting baby #2.  I just love sessions like this!  It was even more fun that when I got home, I got a text from another friend wanting to do the same thing (don’t ask… my lips are sealed!)…… YAY for baby surprises!!!!  Congrats Mel on your growing family… Love ya & many blessings!

So today’s blog post comes from my heart and I’ll keep it short…

I’ve been looking back over the past three years of my photography journey and sharing in my clients’ lives…. and I would just love to express to those of you who are waiting for the extra paycheck or the perfect timing, that there is NEVER a perfect time for pictures!  Life is happening today and my job is to capture that… whatever “that” may be!  Kids grow fast and life flies by…. and it makes me so sad when people pass up on capturing their families memories.

I’ve seen Brides embrace a wedding picture of her parent that has cancer or of her grandparent in the wheelchair….. from tough times in marriages, but kids growing up fast….. to a survivor of breast cancer that has lost her hair.  So… NO, there’s never a perfect time for pictures!

Life is not always easy, but it’s ours… and it’s today… and today needs to be captured!

… and because every blog post needs a pic… here’s one of my life’s moments of my tiny-dancer.
