Josh and Ashley were such a fun couple that are sharing many fun adventures… from finishing college, building thier 1st house and even an adorable little puppy…. but most all joining thier two lives into one!  They had every detailed planned and the outcome was fabulous!  Congrats you two… May you have many blessed years!

Isn’t Ashley just gorgeous?!  I don’t think she could’ve taken a bad picture!  She’s a prop-aholic just like me, so when she showed up with her own stuff, I squealed with excitement.  I love using clients’ props as it makes the pics so much more personal.  Ashley you are beautiful and so was your wedding… and I can’t wait to post those pics too.  Happy Honeymooning!

Leave some love for Ashley below!

Things couldn’t have been more PERFECT for Kyli’s bridals… all of you other photog’s know what I mean…. that amazing dreamy sunset that you only get a couple of time each month!  It was ideal!  I search for this sunset for all my Bridals sessions, but rarely get it.  Well with Kyli, we were lucky… and I took full advantage and shot her till she waived the white flag.  We had fun hoping around town and in some fields and we grabbed so many amazing images.  Congrats Kyli, you were an amazing Bride!  (…and sorry for the late blog post.)

So today’s blog post comes from my heart and I’ll keep it short…

I’ve been looking back over the past three years of my photography journey and sharing in my clients’ lives…. and I would just love to express to those of you who are waiting for the extra paycheck or the perfect timing, that there is NEVER a perfect time for pictures!  Life is happening today and my job is to capture that… whatever “that” may be!  Kids grow fast and life flies by…. and it makes me so sad when people pass up on capturing their families memories.

I’ve seen Brides embrace a wedding picture of her parent that has cancer or of her grandparent in the wheelchair….. from tough times in marriages, but kids growing up fast….. to a survivor of breast cancer that has lost her hair.  So… NO, there’s never a perfect time for pictures!

Life is not always easy, but it’s ours… and it’s today… and today needs to be captured!

… and because every blog post needs a pic… here’s one of my life’s moments of my tiny-dancer.

Thank you everyone for helping make 2011 the best year yet!  I have loved sharing smiles and laughs and most of all sharing in your lives.  I hope everyone enjoys the 2011 recap and I’m looking forward to a fabulous 2012!
