This was the 3rd year I’ve shot this family and it’s been so fun to watch the two youngest girls grow over the years.  When we started almost four years ago, then youngest was still glued to her pacifier!  This year the family welcomed a new sister/daughter in-law and she fits in fabulously!  I can’t wait to what the next few years have in store for them all!

Its College Graduation Time!!!  Miss Megan is graduating from UMHB in Belton, Texas this Fall… so we went out and celebrated across the campus to get a few of UMHB’s iconic landmarks and a few of her fun whimsy style.  She brought along her two babies to be in a few pics and the were so well behaved (her boyfriend took them on a long run just before, lol).

Congrats Megan and all the other graduating Seniors!

Some of you have noticed that I’m slowly changing the way I do newborns.  I’m starting to get away from shooting posed in studio sessions to in-home more lifestyle like.  I really love shooting newborns in their natural state… snuggled up with Mom and Dad, with the family pet, with their own personal props.  I feel it offers more personal images when taken in their own home.  I will soon be pulling back the reins on studio-style newborns all together.

So here is Miss Josie… she such a little cutie and Mom & Dad had such AMAZING window light and they had great personal props from around the house to use for some of just Josie by herself.  I love how it all turned out and how you can see their family’s personality shine thru!  I can’t wait to watch her grow over the years!  🙂

    What a sweet family. These are lovely.

My cute little niece started Kindergarten this year and she also just turned 6!  So I had to tackle her for some pics…. and oooohhhhhh that toothless grin…. makes me giggle!  And of course I made my SIL jump in for at least one pic…. every Mom needs a Mommy & Me pic every now and then!

I am one lucky photog… I’ve shot this family since before the 2nd kiddo was born… all the way to today as they are expecting kiddo #3!  (One from their last session HERE.)  I’ve loved watching the girls grow up and soon I’ll get to meet their new baby brother… YUP, a boy!  I’m so excited for them!  Congrats you guys!  (Ohhh…. and don’t you just love all their yellow?  Perfect for Fall!!!)
