Don’t you just love the idea of “the girl next door”…. well Allison really is!  She grew up just down the street from Luke… but it wasn’t until later in life that they met back up and this country boy fell in love with this city girl.  We went out to some fabulous places near his cotton gin on the outskirts of Temple Texas… and I could’ve shot them all night if the sun had stayed out long enough.  This particular evening there was a BIG cold front coming in and we actually were worried about needing to reschedule, but it held off just long enough for us…. and the result… check out the AMAZING pink sunset we got!  Just when we were wrapping things up and I was loading up my SUV…. I turned around and BAM, gorgeous pink sky…. so of course the camera came back out.  Great things comes to those who wait; wether it’s a pink sunset…. or love!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner…

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2013 Pic of the Year…. the votes were so close, but in the end #9 won for the $850 2014 Portrait Session Package!  Congrats!

The runner up  is #2 for the $150 2014 Portrait Session Sitting Fee….

Well…. Round One is over & all I can say is WOWZERS!!!  There was a total of 2065 votes!!!

Round Two has 6 Finalists….  3 by Popular Vote + 3 by a Panel of Pro Photographers.

This round starts now & goes thru Saturday, February 15th at midnight & the winner will be announced Sunday, February 16th!   A few extra days because I will be off at a workshop for a bit and away from my computer.  The Winner will receive a 2014 Portrait Session Package valued at $850, The Runner Up will receive a $150 credit towards their 2014 Portrait Session, and the remaining 4 finalists will receive a $50 credit towards their 2014 Portrait Session.
