Miss Camryn is the new baby sister to Miss Kendal…. which is one of my Natalie’s BFFs at daycare…. plus our neighbor!  She was just 4 days old when we had our session and that is the BEST time… she was still wanting to be all curled up, so it was easy to squish her into a cute little ball.  (The newer ther better!)  I just love how this session turned out and I love it even more that I get to watch her grow!  Much love Miss Camryn!

This has been such a weird year for weather (even for Texas) and I never thought we’d get snow…. but we did.  For about 15 minutes!  LOL!  I was lucky enough to be home (editing pics like a mad woman), so we ran outside and tried to catch a few flakes.  I hope some of you were able to enjoy it too!

I was absolutely flattered and excited when I met this couple.  They came to me a couple of months ago wanting to book me for their wedding and all they said was that they wanted me and wanted it in July and would set the date for when I was available.  I FELT SO FLATTERED & LOVED!!!  We met up for their e-session and they were so fun to shoot!  Jessica loves the bling….. and Cody loves Jessica (he’s a forehead kisser)!  LOL!  They are absolutely adorable and I’m so excited to share in the Big Day as I know it will be a blast and completely gorgeous!  Congrats C+J!

So today’s blog post comes from my heart and I’ll keep it short… 

I’ve been looking back over the past three years of my photography journey and sharing in my clients’ lives…. and I would just love to express to those of you who are waiting for the extra paycheck or the perfect timing, that there is NEVER a perfect time for pictures!  Life is happening today and my job is to capture that… whatever “that” may be!  Kids grow fast and life flies by…. and it makes me so sad when people pass up on capturing their families memories. 

I’ve seen Brides embrace a wedding picture of her parent that has cancer or of her grandparent in the wheelchair….. from tough times in marriages, but kids growing up fast….. to a survivor of breast cancer that has lost her hair.  So… NO, there’s never a perfect time for pictures! 

Life is not always easy, but it’s ours… and it’s today… and today needs to be captured!

    Oh my goodness… these pictures are so good! I love the one of her yawning and then of the sisters with Kammy serious face. I mean, to be biased, it would be hard to have bad pictures with such beauitful (handsome for you Isaac) people! 🙂 Truly these pics captured some wonderful candid moments.

    All of the photos are stunning and adorable. What every special pictures to capture such a treasured time, the girls are so beautiful. My all time favorite is the girls in matching hats with Kammy holding Kendall’s foot and Kendall’s close up in the red basket.Kendall yawning is precious and the one of her full body curled up and sleeping like only newborns do, is a must have.The girls in matching dresses is adorable too and of course the family shot also.I see 3 multi picture frames on a wall,I think you need them all!
